We are almost at the close of our study in the life of Abraham as we look in Chapter 24 of Genesis. This brings us to the entertaining and delightful story of Abraham sending his servant to find a wife for his son. The remarkable love story of Rebekah and Isaac is one of those tales which we have all known since childhood as one of the loveliest in the Old Testament. This is more than the old but ever new story of "boy meets girl." It has more than that kind of fascination, and certainly it has more than good suggestions on how to get a wife by proxy.

Great Expectations  ( Genesis 24:10-67 )  Daily Devotion

Then he prayed, O LORD, God of my master Abraham, give me success today, and show kindness to my master Abraham. (Genesis 24:12)
