What is Ray Stedman Ministries?

Ray Stedman Ministries is a channel for sharing the life-changing message of the Bible, the Gospel, and the New Covenant of Jesus Christ — all through the life and teachings of Ray Stedman.

We are stewards of the mysteries of God, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory, the most liberating truth in the Bible ( Colossians 1:26-27 ). Through the influence of this timeless material, generations of Christians are being transformed.

We at Ray Stedman Ministries desire that all who visit this website will clearly understand the following fundamentals of a robust relationship with Jesus Christ, and the glorious life of a child of God:

• We believe the Bible teaches that our life in relationship with Jesus Christ begins with God’s own initiative in first loving us. God demonstrated His love for us in this, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. ( Romans 5:8 )
• Further, it is central to our confession that we believe ( have confidence in the fact ) that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the scriptures… ( 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 )
• We are assured that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved ( Romans 10:9-10 ).
• And finally, we trust what Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. ( John 14:6 )

The Christ-follower’s faith is that simple. We hope if you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, that you would receive Him into your life. This is done simply by earnestly and humbly praying:

Lord, I confess my sin; I believe you died and rose again to save me; I need you as my Lord.

Christ works in our heart to turn us from our sin, a repentance God has granted that leads to life ( Acts 11:18 ).

As you move forward with your newfound faith, we encourage you to share your decision with someone close to you, find a Bible believing church for fellowship, and be baptized. As the Lord is calling you to become His follower, we hope this website will be a blessing to you.
