What a fabulous [devotional] lesson in June.  I am anxiously awaiting July. Ray's teachings are greatly benefiting, (in a very comprehendible method), not only me, but my personal local ministry outreach. Good Morning… I am so happy to have found Ray’s web site. I listened to Ray on WVCH in the Philadelphia, PA area many years ago. In March I went through a very tough time and found myself searching the web for some more good teaching. I mainly listen to Dr. Barnhouse, R C Sproul,  Adrian Roger, John MacArthur, J Vernon McGee, Back to the Bible, and several others on WVCH, WFIL, and some on the web. I am an English pastor serving in a ministry based in Budapest Hungary. We have a couple of Christian schools and a Bible college, about 10 other churches planted around Hungary and about 12-15 Hungarian missionaries in the field.  I wanted to write in a few feeble words to say THANK YOU for the ministry of Ray Stedman and all of you who have labored o get his materials available on line and through other means. (Email to Elaine) One day I was searching on the web for a book about Apostle Paul that someone might recommend to me. I happened upon a website by Brandon A. Cox, who I believe is a Pastor in Arkansas. His website was very informative and helpful but what caught my eye was his reference to the work of a man named Ray Stedman. I linked to the Stedman website and since then I have been a faithful listener of Ray's sermons and expositions on the books of the Bible. His voice is like an old friend now; I rarely go a day without listening to him. In fact, after I read the actual Bible passage and then listen to Ray's exposition or sermon, I will print out Ray's sermon and then read it. I find myself /reading/ it in the same Stedman voice, with the same inflections or pauses for emphasis or humor. It is impossible for me to read his sermons without the joy and power of his voice.
Ray's direction and insight into the Word of God is remarkable to me. I have progressed and understood so much through his material and I am so grateful that with the providence of God, this material was preserved and is maintained for anyone fortunate enough to be directed toward this treasury of inspiration. I thank God that I was directed in this way...
